Naz’S Halal Food - Takoma Park

Came to Naz's Halal Food yesterday for lunch. Having first encountered Naz's in New York, I was thrilled to discover they opened a location close to me. I opted for the combo platter with chicken, lamb, and rice with a generous drizzle of white and hot sauce. Naz's certainly lives up to the principle of delivering value for your money - they don't skimp on portions. For $10.99, the serving size was more than satisfying, making it a cost-effective and filling meal. The quality of both the chicken and lamb was outstanding. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. The addition of both white and hot sauce enhanced the overall taste, offering a perfect balance of spice and creaminess. Naz's Halal Food not only meets but exceeds expectations when it comes to flavor and serving size. I'm looking forward to revisiting Naz's soon!

Hey, I was craving some halal food, so I searched on Google and found this place. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! The food was amazing and the portions were huge, just like you can see in the picture. I got a rice platter with a combo of chicken and lamb, and I also ordered 4 falafel for only 2 dollars. It was seriously good food and I highly recommend it.

I went in today because there aren't many good halal places. And I I thought to myself, this may be a treasure. This was a nice little gem. I'll post videos of the location later after editing. The only feedback I have for this place, is more meat should be added to the platter, also salad. The salad could've taken up a bit more space. Only got a few bite fulls. The gyro was filled amazingly with meat. That gets a 10/10. The flavors of everything is on point. Was a really good experince. Customer service was awesome. A bit of a language barrier as the employees don't speak much english. Spanish, yes. So this is actually good for the demographic of the immediate area but gentrification is happening a few miles down, so I'll wait for the gentrifying folks that are new to the area to make the Karen complaints about it. Lol. Overall, this was a great experience and I have no complaints except for the portion of the platter. Definitely agree with the other review on here with regards to that. Honestly.

This place was my first time ordering from a halal place and absolutely in love with it now the food do delicious lamb was absolutely amazing and blew my taste buds away. The chicken was juicy and flavorful the fries are wonderful the rice was absolutely better then any other place I’ve tried baklava strawberry cheese cake and felt like my soul transected to place of existence. 10/10 I’m ordering here all the time .

Doordash service was bad for some of the most delicious mixed bowl ever. Order like triple green sauce next time.
